Rad Racer!

While many of us remember playing Rad Racer on the NES, few know the game was actually developed by Squaresoft. In particular, the key players in the development team went on to create the first games in the Final Fantasy series.

Another neat thing about Rad Racer was that it included a 3D mode that used the red/blue 3D glasses we associate more with old 3D-movies from the 1950s. However, the game’s Japanese release (called Highway Star) utilized the Famicom 3D System, which had a more convincing effect.
